What is tube chain conveyor?
Tube chain conveyor is designed to convey powder, grain and flake in a pattern that bulk material, driven by the chain and the disc, moves continuously in enclosed tube. The direction of conveying can be horizontal, diagonal and vertical combined operation. For horizontal conveyor, bulk material/pellet is pushed by chain disc horizontally. When the internal friction force between bulk material is higher than external friction force between bulk material and tube wall, then bulk material moves with disc and form a stable movement flow. For vertical conveyor, bulk material is affected by disc’s up-thrust, because the lower filling bulk material prevents the upper bulk material to fall and generates lateral pressure, thus it enhances friction force between bulk material. When the friction force between bulk material is higher than the friction force of inner and outer tube wall, also the weight of bulk material itself, bulk material will move upward with disc, become a continuous circle flow.
Application field:
Tube chain conveyor, also known as drag chain conveyor, when working, the chain with circular disc moves in enclosed pipe, relying on disc pushes bulk material forward, it’s an energy-saving and effective powder or pellet continuous conveyor equipment.
The application of tube chain conveying system:
1. Plastic industry: PVC, PP or PE powder, ABS, PC, PP or PE pellet.
2. Fine industry: dye, pigment, paint, carbon, titanium pigment, ferric oxide, ceramic powder, heavy calcium carbonate, fine particle calcium carbonate, bentonite, molecular sieve, porcelain clay, silica powder, acticarbon, etc.
3. Mining industry：urea，ammonia chloride, ammonium acid carbonate, soda ash, solid insecticide, tungsten powder, fish oil, copper ore powder, coal powder, phosphate flake, alumina, etc.
4. Construction material: concrete, clay, yellow sand, quartz sand, clay powder, silicon, pulverized lime, dolomite powder, filings, glass silk, silicon dioxide, chalk, etc.
5. Food industry: flour, starch, grain, milk powder, food additive, etc.
